- Free delivery! Orders less than £30 are dispatched first class, £30-£79.99 via recorded delivery, orders of £80 or over are sent via special delivery next day. Saturday delivery (and adding special to cheaper orders) can be requested before completing purchase (see the additional options button in the cart).

Placing an Order

- After placing an order online you will be sent a confirmation of your order by email immediately. This email will confirm which items you have ordered and the price. This is not an order acceptance from us. Orders are usually dispatched up until 4pm the same working day. Orders placed after 4pm are dispatched on the next working day (monday to friday).
- When we dispatch your order we will send you a dispatch confirmation email to the email address you provided. This email marks our formal acceptance of your order and our obligation to complete the contract.
- Some stock lines we may need to order in the correct size for you, which may take up to 4 weeks - we will email you if this is the case once we have received your order.
- Orders placed before 4pm on a weekday will be processed the same day subject to stock availability and security checks. We do not process orders on weekends or bank holidays. - We do not have to accept your order and reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order once it has been placed. This may be done for example if:
- Your payment is not authorized or has been marked as fraudulent, or potentially fraudulent, by the payment system.
- Payment has been made using a non-UK issued card.
- There is an error on the website regarding the price or description of a product.
- The items ordered are no longer in stock or are unavailable.
- We have tried to contact you about your order and have not heard back within a reasonable period of time.
- If the items you have ordered are unavailable you will be notified as soon as possible.
- By placing an order with us you are confirming that any information you have given is true and accurate and that you are authorized to use the card on which payment was made.
Payment
- No payment is taken until we have confirmed that the ordered items are in stock. In the case of PayPal payments, funds are taken but will be refunded if your order has to be cancelled.
- Depending on whether you pay be credit or debit card, your card provider may show your available balance as though we have taken payment - this is not the case. It simply shows that your card provider has allocated funds for the purchase. Upon a cancellation (before actually being billed) the funds should reappear in your account - the time it takes is dependant on your provider. If an order is cancelled after being billed it may take a few days.
- Once stock levels have been checked and the item is given a postal tracking number (except on first class non-recorded parcels), a dispatch notification email will be sent to you, at which point your payment card will be billed.
Secure ordering
All online transactions made on the website are protected by industry standard SSL (secure Socket Layer) system; this encrypts your personal details ensuring completely safe transfer over the internet, effectively this system prevents your details from being accessed or read by other sources. All payment processing is handled by Sagepay (protx) offsite, none of your credit card details are stored on our systems or are accessible to us.
We do not disclose your details to any third party.
We use sage pay as our payment service provider (psp). They act as a secure link between us and your bank and obtain payment authorisation for us.
Delivery
- Please allow 1-3 working days for dispatch from the date of placing your order. This is to allow us time to check stock availability, inspect the quality of the item and process it for delivery.
- We will Endeavour to meet any given date for delivery however we cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control. If we are unable to make the expected delivery date we shall inform you by email or phone as soon as possible.
- Once dispatched all orders are fully insured by Royal Mail or ourselves until they have been delivered and signed for.
- As soon as your order has been delivered, or confirmed as having been delivered by Royal Mail, then you will be responsible for them.
- Special delivery & recorded delivery
All orders for items that total over £80 are automatically sent Special delivery. Special delivery is guaranteed next day delivery before 1pm; however this can be subject to unpredictable delays, depending on royal mail. If your order is dispatched on Friday it isn’t guaranteed for Saturday - if this is required send us a email and we can send it for delivery Saturday delivery, this may incur extra cost.
If your order is below £80 then we will send it recorded delivery which is free, and this can take 1-3 days, recorded delivery can also be subject to unpredictable delays, if you are in a rush we would suggest special delivery (extra cost of £5.00 per parcel) - the option is provided on the shopping cart page.
Remember, if you place your order after 4pm, it will not be dispatched until the next working day.
- In the unlikely event that you do not receive your order within a week, you must allow 21 days before we can send a replacement if the item is lost in the post. This is because we have to wait for 15 working days before we can chase up missing items with Royal Mail.
In exceptional circumstances we may send out a replacement at our discretion but would require the original item to be returned to us if it arrives after a replacement has been sent.
Cancellations
- You may cancel an order online up to the point at which we send you a despatch note - at this point the item has left our store and we cannot cancel the order at this point. If you cancel after the item has been sent, you must return the item to us unopened - in this case we will refund you the cost of the original item and any additional postage when the item was sent but we cannot pay the postage cost for returning the item.

It is necessary for you to register if you wish to be able to view your order history - we do not give your details, email address or other contact information to any third party. You will receive news updates when we issue them if you have opted in for the newsletter, to the email address that you registered with. WEEE Regulations
The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive is now part of UK law. This legislation is intended to make producers pay for the processing of waste electrical items. This also means that any suppliers of electrical goods such as high street retailers and internet stores must also allow customers to return their waste equipment free of charge in order to be recycled. Items covered by the WEEE consist of about 5% of waste produced by the UK.
Many electrical items that we throw away can be either repaired or recycled. Many items that are thrown away into landfill also contaminate the soil and water, so recycling helps to reduce the environmental impact that disposing of waste has.
Watchmad.co.uk is obliged to take back items for free on a like-for-like basis when you buy a new electrical or electronic product. An example of this is if a customer intends to replace their broken or faulty watch with a new upgrade, we offer to take their old one in, rather than them throwing it in with landfill waste. You must send your WEEE item to us within 28 days of your purchase of the new item.
All WEEE goods should now be marked with a crossed out wheelie bin image as below. This shows that they were produced after the 13th of August 2005 and should be disposed of separately from normal domestic waste in order to be recycled.
