I have been wearing this Skagan watch every day since I purchased it. It is elegant and classy. The face is clear and I love the slimness of this watch. Would recommend it.

why pay more

Cheap, reliable, lightweightand best of all easy to read when your eyes are getting a bit long sighted. Cons - Suspect the strap might fail after two or three years (last one which was similar did)and you can't easily get replacements - but at this price just get a new one :-)

I'm a volunteer Community First Responder (part of the Ambulance service), in this role I needed a watch I could see easily and quickly without my reading glasses; this watch fits the bill perfectly! I've had it for almost three weeks now and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Overall I'm very pleased with it but for completeness I've listed the pro's and minor cons - as I see it - below: Pros: Large, easy to read display. Excellent electroluminescent back-light. Good accuracy - ~ 2s a week! Inexepensive Cons: In 24 hr mode the first digit, '2', is not a full width figure - It's OK but just looks a bit odd! It would have been more truthful to show this in the photos. When setting the precise time there seems to be a one second lag!! - solved by pressing the button at 59s Large watch area may make it unsuitable for smaller wrists. On very minor irritation, which I only mention for completeness

My Lemon watch

It's a very attractive watch and the accuracy astonishing (you can watch seconds against BC Pips) Found it challenging to set up with tiny instructions and perhaps it's me but in not so good UK light not easy to see. I wont be taking it abroad as I am fearful of having to re set it! But is has been admired ,good value for money, for those with 10% eyesight and a brain like Charles Babbage!

This is the second Skagen watch I own and I'm not disappointed. These watches are brilliantly designed being very slim, easy to read as well as being comfortable to wear. I love the look of this one with comfortable silver mesh strap, mother of pearl dial and small crystals around the dial. My first Skagen watch is still going after five years without having to change the battery. An excellent brand.

My watch in use

I am generally very pleased with my Skagen watch supplied by WatchMad. There are two niggles, however. The first is that the button to alter the date or time is not large enough and has no serrations to help the operation. The second is that the date box is so tiny as to be very difficult to read, even when wearing glasses.

I bought this for my 14 year old daughter as these style of watches are'in' at the moment. She loves red and I found it quite difficult to get a girls/ladies watch that was bigger than the norm and one that she could wear to school without it being too obvious and therefore banned. This watch fulfilled all the criteria. It is very light too so she hardly notices it on, it was a little big as being unisex but was quite simple to adjust the strap size. Would def recommend as very good value for money.

Modern slim fitting watch

Very slim design, light weight (Titanium), and simple elegant looks. Have had this watch for a year, and has proved to be really easy to play sport with, and no real deteriation during that time eithur for the face or the wrist band. Excellent !

Good timekeeper but...

Watch excellent, good time keeper.only negative cannot read in dark. After 4 months glass fractured Skagen said they would repair £30+. Watchmad said probably stress fracture and had it replaced foc.

I was expecting this G-Shock to be big but was still surprised it was quite this BIG! Very comfy on the wrist though and not too heavy. I bought one of these when they came into stock, specifically for surfing. It's a great watch and holds true to its water resistance (I don't go down to 100m!) it can be a little fiddly to set up the tide graph, but it's fine if you surf in a couple of locations.
